Rooted in communities.
Committed to dignity.
More than four decades of community-led development in tribal and underserved regions of north coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Development built with people
Founded in 1980 by Dr. S. Venkateswara Rao, Community Development Centre (CDC) grew from sustained field engagement in the tribal areas of north coastal Andhra Pradesh.
CDC is rooted in a simple conviction: durable development is built with people—by strengthening their knowledge, skills, institutions and economic capacity so they can shape the decisions affecting their lives.
CDC serves remote tribal and particularly vulnerable tribal communities, with special attention to Savara, Jathapu, Konda Dora and Gadaba families, women, children, landless households and persons with disabilities.
